What Granola does better
- No new meeting link. It works with Zoom, Meet, Teams and other meeting apps using your computer audio, with no bot in the call.
- Everywhere you meet. macOS, Windows, iOS and Android apps, including in-person meetings.
- Before and after. Pre-meeting briefs, follow-up emails, and AI chat across your meetings.
- Trust paperwork. SOC 2 Type II and SSO on Enterprise.
What Fireflies does better
- Coverage. Its notetaker joins Zoom, Meet, Teams and more, and it has desktop, mobile and Chrome extension options.
- Automation. 200+ AI Skills, including a Product Spec Builder, plus CRM, project management and ATS integrations.
- Analytics. Talk-time, topic trackers and conversation intelligence.
- Enterprise. SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA and SSO.
What Quantlys Meeting does for a product team
- Gaps closed in the room. The host can turn on an agent that checks the conversation against a spec rubric and, in a pause, asks everyone one question about a missing section.
- One PRD per project. Every recorded session feeds the same markdown PRD; the later meeting wins when two disagree, and anything unsettled stays TBD. See the example PRD and recap vs PRD.
- Export where you ship. Push the PRD into GitHub, Linear, Jira or Notion with your own token, or paste the markdown into Quantlys Conclave.
- Open source. MIT, on GitHub.
Side by side
How I compared. Quantlys Meeting rows come from the public source code and README (v1.1.3). Granola and Fireflies rows were checked on each vendor's own website or help center on Oct 19, 2026 (as of Oct 2026); every cell links to the page it came from. ✗ means the vendor's own page says it isn't offered. “Not listed on their site” means I couldn't find it on their official pages, not that it doesn't exist. Plans and features change, so check the vendor before you decide.

Getting the PRD into your tools
The PRD panel has an Export menu with these options, no setup needed:
- Copy as Markdown or Download .md.
- New GitHub issue: a prefilled create-issue link for the repo you type (owner/repo).
- New Linear issue: a prefilled create-issue link.
- Jira and Notion: copies the markdown and opens Jira's create dialog on your atlassian.net site, or a new Notion page, so you can paste it.
A PRD too long for a link is cut at a line, with a link back to the full PRD. You can still paste the markdown into Quantlys Conclave by hand.
Direct push. You can also push the PRD straight into GitHub Issues, Linear, Jira or Notion. You connect your own token for each tool; it's stored encrypted and only its last 4 characters are shown again. You see a preview of exactly what will be created before anything is sent.
- GitHub Issues: one PRD issue plus one issue per user story, with acceptance criteria as a checklist. Stories are linked as sub-issues where the repo supports it.
- Linear: one PRD issue with a sub-issue per user story, criteria as a checklist.
- Jira Cloud: the PRD as an Epic with each user story as a Story under it (unlinked Stories if the project has no Epic type).
- Notion: one page under a parent page you pick, with criteria as to-dos.
Re-pushing updates the items it made last time instead of duplicating them. In Notion it writes a fresh page and moves the old one to the trash. Self-hosting? Direct push needs an encryption key and a database migration; see docs/INTEGRATIONS.md.
FAQ
How is Quantlys Meeting different from Granola and Fireflies?
Granola and Fireflies take notes on the meetings you already hold in Zoom, Meet or Teams. Quantlys Meeting is its own browser meeting room, built for product spec sessions: a live agent asks the room about spec sections nobody has covered, and the recorded sessions on a project roll into one markdown PRD.
Doesn't Fireflies also write PRDs?
Yes. Fireflies lists a Product Spec Builder AI Skill that turns meeting discussions into product requirement documents. Quantlys Meeting's difference is that it works on the spec during the meeting, asking about missing sections while everyone is still in the room, and marks anything unsettled as TBD.
Can I keep Granola or Fireflies and use Quantlys Meeting too?
Yes. Keep your notetaker for everyday calls and send a Quantlys Meeting link for the planning sessions where you want a spec at the end.
Is Quantlys Meeting open source?
Yes. It is MIT-licensed at github.com/SantoshA1/quantlys-meet, and you can self-host it on your own LiveKit, Deepgram, Supabase, storage and model keys.
